The sound may be a bit heavier but the soul is still there! We would like to take a moment to shout out to the members of the past whom we assume are still alive....moment over! 5-5-03....Oh yes, We will be updating more often as time rolls closer to Summer! Yea! A lot has been going on as I have been posting, and i'm sure for those of you who care you are wondering, well - What the hell is it? First, We want to apologize for the long time inbetween updates, and thank you for your support and patience, we have just been inbetween as well.

Inbetween you say? Our former Drummer Bryan got Married, So Congrats to him, but he is also in a new band, so good luck as well.

Our new Drummer isn't all that new at all, He is one of those guys that helped make Burnside what it is today (A.K.A. one of the founding members) - Jeff Montavon. We are getting into a new groove!

We would like to wish our guitarist Jason a Happy Birthday this Month, He'll be a half a century old.

11-10-02....We're just playin'! No overseas shows for us, not just yet....we have about 4 months to wait before we can do all that! Just wanted you to know we are still alive, just not with the availabilities to jam like most bands. Our siger hasn't had the freedom in his schedule lately for us to have shows, but we assure you, as soon as he is free of his detainments, we should be ready to go again! We are sorry, and we greatly appreciate your concerns, emails, and support....eventually it'll come together. We would like to wish Our webmistress Molly a Happy 'Early' Birthday for November 21, 2002 she'll be a big 24....Okay then......that is all for this installment, but I would like to leave you with a quote by the great Humphrey Bogart "The problem with the world is that everyone is a few drinks behind."

9-22-02....Happy Birthday Eric....Eric Just turned 22 on September 15, 2002. Congradulations go out to Jason Burnside and Molly Cross on their Union....They were Married on September 13th, 2002...Good Luck to you both. We are sorry to those of you who went out to see us at the State Bar and Grill Saturday the 21st, 2002, We really didn't have a show planned, and We are guessing someone was playin' a joke on us. Our Gutarist was still on his Honeymoon, so the show would have been impossible! But when we do have a show, and for real, it will be advertised here as well, so if you don't see a show on the site, it ain't really happenin'! That's all for this update, but please remember you should never take life too serious, because you'll never get out alive!

8-26-02....Another installment...hummin comin atcha'....there's a buzz around Burnsidia...and it's about X-Fest. We are rearin' up and ready to play it...but we need your help getting there. We have some shows in the works with Westlake in September/October, so hang in there and your Burnside Experience will be worth the wait....we have some line-up changes in the works as well, and we are really excited about it. 6-17-02....The Results are in, Burnside was one of the 20 bands who were picked out of 60 to compete for LocoBazooka. We will be battling on the 29th at the Zoo at 5:20. We are asking all of you to come out and support us. This is one of those golden opportunities, and we need your help! The cost is $5.00 at the door for this all day, all age show. There are 10 bands playing the day we do, so come out and support us! Thanx to all of you who came out and experienced BurNsiDe at the Monkey, we saw some new faces, and we appreciate the word of mouth you've been givin'! We are working at putting up a downloadable clip of BurNsiDe featured on 'WSAZ news Channel 3' for the Benefit concert we played on May 24, 2002 (11:00 news), as well as a downloadable version of 'Can't Swim Alone', the song currently being played on the radio. 6-3-02....Another Show put on the books, We are opening for Westlake on the 22nd of June at the Zoo (formerly the Drop Shop). Hope to catch you all at a show!

5-28-02....First Item on the agenda is to give a Huge thanx to our Friends and fans who came out to experience BurNsiDe at the OU Music Blitz where we opened for Westlake. Also, a huge Shout-out to Westlake for such a Killer Show. For those of you who Missed it, Sorry about your Luck, But it was awesome, and when Erik got up on the Stage with Westlake and helped out on their Cover of Nickelbacks newest hit, Wicked!! Next on the List, is we all wish a speedy recovery to Mr. Jason B., our guitarist, Jason's hand is broken at the moment, but he was able to pull the show off with minimal mistakes....We also want to Wish Bryan and Jason Happy Birthdays....Bryan on the 18th and Jason on the 30th. 11-12-01....We would like to thank everyone who came to the Benefit show Friday Night. Ohio University Southern Capus made quite the profit from our show. They have invited us and Kings Hollow back for another Show in the Spring. Again, Thanx for the Turnout because without you, none of this would be fun!

11-9-01.... Lure 609 Cancelled Tonight's show at 8:00 this morning via email, because they had a previous engagement. So we have been bumped to the Headlining Act. Because OUR fans matter to us we will not disappoint you!

10-9-01....First Leg of BurNsiDe's concerts kicks off this November 9th, 2001 at Ohio University. This will be an All age show Benefiting Ohio University Southern Campus. We are donating ALL door proceeds to Ohio University Southern Campus for Their 5 Million Dollar Education/Technology Goal. We are the Opening act, as the Head lining act is still TBA.
